I know we lost them when we were too young. So many others get to keep enjoying a relationship with their dads way into adulthood and middle age. My only comfort is that at least we had them in the first place. Oh and I have no idea if we kept those diaries by the way I doubt they exist anymore. Our hearts are the best place for memories to live on.
